Постоянно Finance Associate

для Hazar Ýorite Hyzmatlary в городе Kiyanly project site


Position: Finance Associate

Job Location: Kiyanly project site (Turkmenbashy etrap, Balkan velayat) 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintains checklists, logs, worksheets, or other records used to monitor the status of a project or business activity. 
  • Reviews accounting statements, expense reports, and standard forms for accuracy, completeness, and conformity to procedures.
  • Reviews requests for work from clients, applies the correct prices using the price-list, and prepares work order proposals.
  • Timely advises the client and direct supervisors on incorrect documentation, and takes actions to ensure correct documentation is maintained.
  • Prepares necessary documents such as handover documents, time-sheets, and progress reports during execution of the work orders.
  • Prepares necessary billing documents upon completion of work orders.
  • Keeps accurate records of issued invoices and received payments from customers, matches the payments with invoices, and immediately provides information upon request by supervisors.
  • Communicates with clients during the whole process from receiving the request to final completion; discusses and resolves arising issues, maintain with clients amicable working relationship.
  • Supports other colleagues, serves as backup, uses proactive approach in the work.
  • Gathers information and assists in the development of regular and ad-hoc reports.
  • Estimates materials, labor, and time requirements for specific projects.
  • Coordinates multiple and/or competing activities and assignments for efficient use of time and resources.
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Education and experience 

  • First level university degree or Bachelor degree in accounting, finance, business administration or related area.
  • Minimum four years of experience in related field.

Knowledge, skills and abilities

  • Ability to work effectively with others in close or stressful situations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
  • Knowledge of standard accounting principles, practices and procedures.
  • Knowledge of working within the contract framework and applicable rules and regulations.
  • Good knowledge of computer operation and of MS Office suite.
  • Fluency in Russian, good knowledge of English, knowledge of Turkmen is an asset.
  • Experience working with 1C is an advantage.
