Постоянно Technical Support Engineer

для Austroconsult GmbH в городе Ашхабад

Austroconsult GmbH, an Austrian company with more than 40 years of experience in international Telecommunication Consulting is looking for a Technical Support Engineer for a Telecommunication Network Enhancement Project in Turkmenistan.

 

Duties and responsibilities

  • Technical and organizational coordination of the subject Project Lot together with the Resident Project Manager
  • Local support of the Key Experts of the subject Project Lots with on-site assessments, necessary technical inputs identified on-site and Client requirements to produce quality documentation for the Deliverables
  • Identification of Risk & Issues compromising to achieve the set goals for the subject Project Lot and mitigate/resolve the risk/issues together with the Project Manager and the Client.
  • Execution of the different Work Packages of the subject Project Lot together with the Key-Experts and be responsible for producing together with the Key-Experts high quality Deliverables for timely submission to the Client.
  • Regular Reporting to the Resident Project Manager with regards the subject Project Lot

Qualifications / Compentencies

  • Technical Competence: Extensive technical and organizational knowledge and understanding of the Telecommunication Operator Business and the related upcoming new developments and trends in this industry sector with regards to the subject Project Lot

Experience

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in telecommunications
  • At least 10 years of technology leadership experience supporting a large, geographically distributed network infrastructure
  • At least 10 years‟ experience in architecting reliable and high-performing networks; Experience in integrating LTE / EPC, IMS, VoIP, VoLTE, Wireless Core projects or in RF optimization projects would be an advantage
  • Successful experience as an individual contributor and/or technical lead in the development of complex telecommunications systems with emphasis on LTE and IP networking systems

Education and Skills

  • A university degree in Telecommunication Engineering (or equivalent certification)
  • Fluent English and Russian (writing and speaking)
  • Computer Skills (Efficiently utilizing Microsoft Office Suite)
  • Presentation Skills

Working conditions

  • The Job location will be mainly at the Project Office in Ashgabat/Turkmenistan
  • Includes extensive travel all over Turkmenistan and maybe occasional business trips to other countries worldwide
  • Usually daytime work during usual local working hours.
  • May require late hours, overtime and weekend work as per Project requirements
  • Subject to adverse indoor and outdoor work environment (indoor conditions/weather conditions/exposure to high voltage, flammable liquids and gases, etc.)
